I have been searching many cases online for my labtop however I didn't see a good one until this case comes along. mCover case is the best value when you are looking for quality and price, not only it offer protection but also it's very fashionable not to mention it fits my labtop perfectly. *Please note that this particular case only fits DV6 6xxx series not Dv6 3xxx series* Look no more my friend this is it!!! mCover rules!!!

I just got this product today and installed it on my computer. Installation was easy and simple -just snap it on and go. It fits the computer like a glove -no wiggling or looseness. both parts of the case are held on by tiny tabs which are barely visible when the laptop is open. Another nice feature is that the lid is just slightly translucent -you can't see the computer itself through the lid, but the HP light shines through. The lid dulls the light so that it actually looks kinda E-ink-y -very cool.

All ports and such are still accessible, and the case doesn't appear to add any discernible thickness to the laptop. One thing potential purchasers might want to be aware of is that the case does cover the two small speakers on the front of the laptop (not the long bar speaker, the other ones.) This appears to make no difference whatsoever to the sound quality and volume.

The little feet are nice and seem to be spring-loaded so that they can snap back up into the body of the case and stay there. They seem a tiny bit small, but, then again, it's not like you're going to be jacking your car up on this or anything.

Excellent product. Looks good, made of high-quality material, and fits well. Five stars, highly recommended.

Update: After a full year of use, one of the little feet broke. It's a bit disappointing, but hardly takes away from the effectiveness of the case.

Bottom line this is a solid case. Visually, it is pretty plain (solid black, obviously). The case fit my DV6 perfectly! The pop up stands on the bottom are very well designed, not flimsy complement the case nicely. There are two little rubber feet on the bottom portion. For this price, well worth picking this case.

This is a great case and would recommend to anyone the only reason i gave 4 starts is cause it doesn't have openings for the front speakers. very sturdy and the little kickstands help it to better cool the machine.
