I chose this case because it was one of the few 17" cases available and I was desparate for a case for my MacBook Pros. Aside from size, my main focus was finding a budget friendly price. Overall, I like it. It protects from scratches and minimal wear and tear but really, its not that much protection. Its not heavy duty, it soaks up water, its just basic. I also feel like my laptop isn't very snug in case because it is so flexible of a material. The laptop shifts around in there a lot. Oh well! It was cheap! You get what you pay for.
