This case is made of memory foam-like material which holds impressions for 10-15 seconds after they are made. My 15" MacBook pro fit inside the case without any difficulty and there seemed to be about half an inch of extra space on the top. This was my first concern, but I think the case is durable enough that the extra space will not cause any issues with protection. The zipper is very sturdy. My only personal problem was with the color of the case. When I viewed images of the case on Amazon, I got the impression that the case was black on the outside and yellow on the inside, when actually the outside is navy blue. I ended up returning the case because I was not sold on the colors, but I think that the case itself in functionality is superb. I would recommend it to those trying to find a quality case at a reasonable price.
