The sleeve is indeed a good value for the price. If you are looking for a solid functional case for a MacBook this one does nicely. The external pocket will hold a power adapter, the longer cord, and even a video dongle. The edges are well reinforced and offer good protection for your MacBook. Highly recommended from a utilitarian point of view.

The only reason I gave this product 4 stars is because there are other Mac-only cases available for a premium. This particular sleeve is comparable to what one might find for an Asus, an HP, or a Dell notebook, but since many Mac owners pride themselves on being a bit distinctive, there are sleeves and cases that set your Mac apart from their Windows brethren without being too presumptuous.

But that is a personal choice.
