Little protection, but fits the macbook 13" nicely. However, the handles are awkwardly sewn on the inside of the zipper making it impossible to completely zip it closed when carrying it with the handles. Not that big of a deal but if you're expecting anything more than a dust cover, then you might want to keep looking.
