Update.

I've owned the bag for almost a year now; I live on a boat and transport my laptop in the bag in my dinghy to the boat and back to shore very nearly daily. The bag is well-made; it hasn't leaked; it has a functional design, with quality material in comparison to other previously owned bags that fell apart soon after purchase.

It would be a better bag if the manufacturer / designer included a shoulder strap (but straps are cheap and I bought one made by Skooba) and it would be a great bag if the manufacturer added padded, interior, storage pockets for mouse, power cord, pens, etc.

I recommend it.

I got a 15" case (medium?) and it works very well for my PC. When I roll it up and latch the sides, air inside the case cannot escape, i.e. I wouldn't expect any water to get in. The edges of the case are also firm, making it harder to crush what is inside if whatever is put on top is flat. The padding in the center of the case might be a little lighter than some folks want, but I think it is reasonable to keep bulk down.

The downside is my new widescreen laptop doesn't fit, not that this is the fault of the product.

I've given this 5 stars before I've ordered it because that's the current rating and because someone at a Wi-Fi spot recommended them when I showed him my wearing-out ordinary neoprene sleeve that's never protected my laptop against rain (I was traveling on my bicycle with rain in the forecast).
