Exactly what is needed to keep dust out of my laptop during sandstorms while in the desert. Can also be folded over and used as a seat cushion while using the computer. The side pocket is large enough to hold an oversized gaming mouse pad (can't zip the side shut though).
I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs a bit more protection for their laptop especially while traveling. The case fit my Pavilion DV7 perfectly with about 2 inches of spare room.

This is a great case for my new notebook. The size was accurate and there is a place for the wires and cables. A nice purchase.

This did smell like plastic/petroleum out of the bag. Having read the comments on this before I purchased it might have made that more noticeable. It takes a couple weeks for it to air out, after a month there is no smell. It fits the 17" lap top with room to spare. I have room to put the power cord and mouse in the zip pocket and still have room on the sides. It has been 2 and a half months and there is no quality problems. Zippers work. We push it in and pull it out of a second case (the second case is tight) when we travel (at least once a week) and it has held up fine. It is thin and not a lot of protection but it protects from dirt, dust, and scratches.
