This case works extremely well for me. I bought the soft shell because I really only needed to protect my netbook while transporting it in my backpack for class. It's well constructed and the extra pocket is great for holding other small items like my portable mouse. I also like that there is extra fabric on the inside that act as a sort of envelope to hold my netbook securely in the case.
