I'm using the product, but when I close my MacBook Air, the lid doesn't close completely. It can be held shut with gentle pressure and hasn't presented a real problem for me. It's about 1/8 inch space between the lid can the bottom half of the laptop.

love the case is fits my mac air perfectly. i love the color and it protects my laptop very well.
