I purchased this hoping it would be the best protective sleeve on the market for my laptop, seeing as it was the only sleeve that said anything about actually protecting laptops when they fall (all the other sleeves only talk about protecting from scratches and dings and stuff like that). So now I have it and I will say, from what I can tell, the rubber bumpers make a world of difference while protecting your laptop when you drop it! They actually elevate the case and redirect and absorb the shock when the laptop is dropped (which is prefect for protecting you laptop). I will say that is very light weight and appears to be very durable and sturdy, and the inside lining is really soft, but not ultra padded. However, the bumpers are only on the bottom corners (I would have liked for them to be on all 4 corners), the double neopre casing still doesn't offer that much protection (but it is a sleeve so, I guess is provides about as much protection as a sleeve can offer), and while the bumpers do protect your laptop very well, I still have a feeling that the aspect of shock MAY still damage some components of your computer when dropped (but it is definately better to have this protection than none at all as a regular sleeve has no defense against shock when dropped). It is a great SLEEVE that fits my 14" laptop fairly well (still a little wiggle room, but thats all sleeves, I wish they would make them whenre they are like a second skin, but oh well) and I am going to put this sleeve inside a neopre case that I bought that has handles and an extra layer of neopre so I have no doubt that my laptop will be protected and easily portable. Overall, this is a great sleeve that I definately recomend for those who want to protect their laptop if dropped.
side note: I have come to learn that a laptop when dropped DOES NOT rotate to where the heaviest side is bottom down so as long as you keep the bumpers facing the ground, there is a great chance your laptop will be protected very well form an accidental drop.

well built with a flat zipper and soft lining that wont sctarch. the problem is that it is rather big instead of more form fitting. on the other hand i can fit a lot of papers in with the laptop
