I searched Amazon for a suitable carrying case for my newly bought ASUS Eee Pad Transformer TF101-A1 10.1-Inch Tablet Computer (Tablet Only). After having no luck, I stumbled upon this LaCie Formoa carrying case, which seemed promising. Previous carrying cases were either too small or didn't fit my style.

The LaCie Formoa case's dimensions are 4.1 x 10.6 x 7.9 in. (it wasn't in the product specs). The width in these reported dimensions is apparently a tad bit smaller than the Asus Eee Pad (approximately 10.7 x 7 in), but after receiving the product, the tablet definitely fits with no problems at all (still some room to spare too!). The case is very spacious and has two big pockets and one small pocket with a zipper. The two big pockets are open and are secured by a small velcro. Carrying handles can be hidden inside these two pockets, which seems convenient for switching between a sleeve and a case.

The material of the case seems pretty solid. The inside of the case is white in color, and its material seems to be fair to me. Compared to something like Incase, where the inside material feels very soft, LaCie's material isn't as soft as it could be.

I haven't taken the case out yet for any practical usage yet, as I just received this item! However, it suits my needs: fit my Asus tablet and protect it from other objects, as I will be using this case as a sleeve instead of a carrying case. 5 stars!

I use this for my Asus EEE PC 1008P, which is a 10.1 inch netbook. It is a really good size (could fit a slightly bigger netbook no problem), with two decent pockets on either side and in the one is a little zipper pouch for smaller things. The handles are folded down into these side pockets and can be easily pulled up and used or pushed back down into the pockets. I think the size versus the protection/pockets is a good mix, as it's not too big, but I can still manage to get my charger into it. It's easy to carry on its own or it fits into the "laptop" compartments in messenger bags, etc. The look of the black one is professional, but not boring.

This works great for storing and carrying the TF700 that I am keeping in a leather case, along with the docking station separately. I like this flexibility. The pockets are very useful and I like the tucked in handles. I carry this in my backpack, so thinness is not an issue for me.

Fits my Toshiba NB305 nicely, thank you. And since the Toshiba is red, looks great, too. Optional handles have proved useful. Case comes through the washer perfectly. One wish: more padding!
