there's nothing "snug" about this fitting a mac book pro retina. Yes, it probably fits like a glove for the Non-Retina screen;however, the blatant false advertisement indicating this is "made" for the retina screen is total lie..... it's the same thing as buying "magnums" when you know your just a normal dude......

If your looking for a functional sleeve this is it. I bought this for a retina macBook Pro and its a perfect fit. Not too tight and not too loose Just right. With the sleeve on it still fits into my travel bag's laptop slot. Important to me because now I just remove the sleeve and computer from my carry-on luggage for airport TSA inspection and still have some protection from rough handling. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

The sleeve fit a little loose for what i was expecting but it still completes the job of protecting my new mac. It does not have any extra pockets. The zipper goes farther then what i thought as it unzips to where the black turns to blue. For the price it does its job. That was all I was expecting from it.

This sleeve does what it is designed to do, but the zipper has the large teeth on it and is exposed. The smaller zippers that are covered are much nicer.
